The IMEF Research Foundation awards the IV FIMEF Financial Award to Ph.D. Carmen Reinhart (Deputy Editor of REMEF) for her contribution in financial and economic research in Latin America and the impetus for academic debate in financial crises International. Her work highlights the linkage of politics and economics, and encourages the scientific work of Mexican men and women at the highest level.

Ph.D. Antonina strengthens and expands the areas of knowledge of the REMEF, its lines of research are: international cooperation, climate change and sustainable development. 

She is a professor-researcher and director of the Center for APEC Studies, Autonomous University of Baja California Sur. She is also the author and editor of books, articles in refereed journals and research, highlighting her contribution as author-leader of the IPCC's Fourth Evaluative Report, which was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007.

The IMEF enters the National Registry of Scientific and Technological Institutions and Companies (RENIECYT) through the REMEF.
